Hear what others are saying about the course:

“Not only did I gain strategies to help my toddler gain power over his strong emotions, but I have learned how to take control over my strong emotions, too! It has been empowering to work side by side with my children on strategies that every member of our family can use to deal with our emotions in a healthy way. And it has been incredibly rewarding to see my toddler incorporate strategies and tools that I just learned about into his every day life!”

“Before the shift parenting course, I felt frustrated and unsure about how to deal with the arguing and conflict between my children. With the tools I learned throughout the course, I now feel like I have options and go to strategies to help all of us when big emotions arise. Small shifts and victories in parenting keep me wanting to learn more and be better.”

“SOOO GOOOD!!!! ALL OF IT!!!! I love the gifts list! Working on the list and sharing it openly with my family has created such immense clarity for me in how I parent. Decision making has become a breeze!”

“1 - Loved feeling I had a community and wasn't alone. 2 - Paying attention to the victories was more helpful than I thought - I'm actually getting more right! 3 - Having different language, like a feel good plan or do-overs, to fall back on is crazy helpful. 4 - Being mindful of the gifts is key!”

“Parenting is hard and having to go day to day guessing about how to do it I think makes things much harder and now that I have a plan I feel so much more confident as a mom!”

“Realizing that I can share a little bit of the science and whys behind my parenting behavior to my daughter (13 years old) during do-overs. It helped us to bond more and me to remain more logical and less emotional.”

“I liked that I could do it on my own time because I wasn't able to attend the live feed.”

“I took Cher's parenting course with my 5-year old in mind, but little did I know the concepts and tools she gives are perfect for children of all ages. I actually used the techniques more with my 18-year-old when he was going through several challenges adjusting to moving out and attending his first year of college out-of-state. After Cher's course I felt equipped with a toolbox of phrases and "conversation starters" so that I could talk candidly, calmly and openly with my teenagers (I have a 16 year-old daughter at home as well) on the challenges that they face both in daily life as well as with specific obstacles they were facing this fall. The ability to talk openly and in a very straightforward manner *with* them (not at them!) has lead to a new level of trust and appreciation and has rendered our relationship closer than ever - a closeness that I think and hope will stand the test of time as they enter adulthood. One of the best parts of the course was that I learned tools for my own personal work as well, and many are activities that you can do together with your kids. I value Cher's knowledge and guidance so much and am truly thankful for what I learned in her parenting course!”

Would previous participants recommend the course and why?:

“Yes, because EVERYONE needs it regardless of how good of a parent you think you are. We all need tips and help.”

“Yes! I think every parent or caretaker needs this information!”

“Yes! Participating in a forum with a group of parents interested in learning new parenting strategies is beneficial in any stage of parenting!”

“Yes. I was able to learn very practical and important strategies that have already greatly impacted how I deal with my children. I think it is very applicable across all ages of children, too. I only have littles, but I think it can benefit everyone from the newest stages of parenting to people with teenagers. (It would even be helpful for people without kids to learn the strategies for themselves!)

“This course gave me something I've not read in any parenting book and that is to have a fucking plan! Cher is so calm! So zen! You made it so easy for me to understand how these brains of ours work!”

“Yes. It digs much deeper into the biology of the brain, allowing me to know “why?”

“THANK YOU! This course came at a pretty critical time in dealing with some strong toddler emotions and it has completely turned around the way things were going for us!”

“YES! I think that no matter your parenting style, this course helps you understand how to move from the less-than-desirable starting point to whatever successful parenting means to you. I didn't feel there was any judgement or pressure on HOW to parent. Instead this course provided the resources for me to successfully parent the way I choose.”

“Keep up the beautiful work Cher! This class really helped me very much!”

My Mission and Vision: I want all families to have a safe space to explore their role as a parent.
